It is from this place of observation that you can learn to let the tension go. It should be noted that these tensions are not simply physical; if you are ready to allow this to happen, the therapy may result in emotional catharsis and reveal suppressed memories held in the body.
A traditional Thai Yoga Therapy session is a full-body treatment starting at the feet and progressing up to the head. Thai Therapy is practiced on a thick futon on the floor with the client dressed in loose, comfortable clothing. The recipient’s body is moved, loosened, and stretched through a sequence of gentle flowing movements over the course of a typical 90-minute session. The unique passive stretches address both the joints and muscles to harmonize and restore the flow of energy throughout the body. As a result, Thai Therapy improves flexibility, increases circulation, and relieves stress.
